Restrictions with Using USB Devices for V3 Software

· Eine Minute Lesezeit

Depending on your work culture, your IT department may restrict or block the use of USB flash drives due to security concerns.

Unfortunately, the V3 software requires the use of USB drives for synchronization, importing template revisions, exporting inspections, and updating the software versions. Therefore, the only option for using the V3 software would be to relax USB restrictions, or make a policy exemption for certain USB drives that are encrypted using a tool like BitLocker.

If the USB policies cannot be relaxed or modified, the only other option would be to upgrade the F1 devices to support the V4 software suite and migrate your workflow from the V3 software to V4. In this case, contact Tessonics customer support to explore your options.
