Update Procedure

At the time of writing, the SRS does not yet provide an over-the-air update procedure.

To install a new version of the SRS Auditor app or the SRS web configuration daemon, follow these steps. They assume that the SRS is reachable at 192.168.1.1.

Download and extract the SRS Auditor app.
Open a command prompt and navigate to the extracted executable.
```
cd path/to/executable
```
Copy the application binary to the SRS system.
```
scp srs-auditor srs@192.168.1.1:
```
Connect to the SRS system through SSH. The default password is spotweld.
```
ssh srs@192.168.1.1
```
Make the SRS application binary executable.
```
chmod +x srs-auditor
```
Navigate to the target location.
```
cd /opt/tessonics/srs/bin
```
Optional: Create a backup of the previous SRS version.
```
sudo cp srs-auditor srs-auditor_backup
```
Copy the new application to its default location.
```
sudo mv ~/srs-auditor .
```

Restart the SRS service.

sudo systemctl restart tessonics-srs-auditor.service

After that, connecting with the SRS Configurator should display the new SRS Auditor version.
