I Lost my Database! How to Get my Data Back from the F1 Device

Due to an accident, you may have lost access to your database for your V3 software suite. You can get the data back from an F1 device by following the steps outlined below.

This is not guaranteed to get 100% of your data back. Your F1 will only have the relevant data from the last activated template revision.

You will also only get the inspections from the F1 device itself.

1. On your F1 device, go to Utilities and select Windows Explorer to open the Windows file explorer.
2. Go to the folder C:\tessonics\rswa\data.
3. Copy the contents of this folder to a USB drive.
4. Eject the USB drive.
5. Copy the contents of the USB drive onto your computer of choice.
6. Open Designer or Reporter.
7. At the top left of the screen, go to File -> Switch Location....
8. Select the location of the folder you just copied.
