Measurements Display "?" for Diameter and Indentation

Version 3.9.8.60 introduced a feature where ? is displayed when the diameter and indentation could not be calculated or determined. There are multiple steps that can be taken to diagnose this issue.

Please carry out the following steps to help diagnose the problem:

  1. Select Settings and perform an Auto Setup inside Probe Configuration.
  2. Clean the surface of the probe with a lint cloth.
  3. Reapply Tessonics Imagel to the part and ensure proper contact when performing a measurement.
  4. Perform another Setup operation, then Get to remeasure the weld.

If the steps above do not resolve the issue and the unit is running version 3.11.0 or newer, there may be an issue with the algorithm settings. On certain configurations, there is a bug where the measurement data can get corrupted when Echo Shape Processing is enabled. Try disabling this feature to see if that resolves the issue.
