Small updates to the Designer and Reporter softwares in the V3 software suite, as well as the introduction of the Database Tools software.

Common features​

  • The various desktop tools are now self contained. Installation of standard RSWA software is not required any more.

Designer​

  • Supports direct export of templates to USB stick for synchronization with RSWA.
  • Allows creating new databases.
  • Improved switching to a different database location.
  • Fixed a few issues with printing.
  • Designer now requires signing in when you try to modify anything in the database.
  • User management is now built into the designer application.
  • Reasons management is now built into the designer application.
  • Weld list view now supports customizable import from spreadsheets.
  • Implemented image optimization dialog.
  • Other minor bug fixes.

Reporter​

  • Supports direct import of inspections from USB stick (synchronizer is no longer required).
  • Fixed a few issues with printing.
  • Improved switching to a different database location.
  • Removed lifetime statistics to improve UI responsiveness.
  • Added an option to include part images in reports.
  • Other minor bug fixes.

New application - Database Tools​

  • Allows compacting and repairing databases.
  • Allows improving database performance by removing older measurements from the database.
