Panel Assembly

Panel Description: The RIWA 2 Panel is the central processing unit for the ultrasonic data captured form the weld cell. RIWA 2.3 can display up to 4 ultrasonic systems in one single Panel HMI display.

Mounting

1. Ultrasound cable distance limit: Due to ethernet standards specifications we recommend keeping the distance from the RIWA 2 Panel to the robots equipped with RIWA 2.0 Remote modules (ultrasound boards) at less than 100 meters.
2. Panel dimensions: The RIWA 2 Panel dimensions can be found in the picture below. The weight of the Panel is 35Kg.

Power Supply Unit Connections:

This is what the abbreviation PSU stands for in this document.

1. PSU specs: The RIWA Panel will require a PSU of 120- 240 VAC to 24-36VDC.
2. PSU to Panel cable Length: The length for the 120 – 240VAC to 24VDC PSU to the Panel should not be farther than 20 meters.
   note

   This is different from the run for the Remote modules (ultrasound boards) to the Panel.

3. PSU LEADS: The connections from the external PSU to the RIWA 2.0 Panel can be seen in the picture below.
   • PSU +/- connection: As seen in the picture below the red circle on the EATON Bussman fuse box on the opposing end from the 3030 connection is where the PSU + wire needs to be connected.

4. Standard User Account and Password.
