Remote Module Assembly

The remote module mounting dimensions can be found in the figure below. It is important to note that though the mounting holes are 4mm the maximum screw head diameter is 7.2mm.

Remote Module Dimensions

In the picture below, we can see one side of the Remote module has one connector and the other has two. Generally, the side with two connectors should face towards the "jaws" of the gun. This is so that the hall effect sensor and the transducer cables can have as short a "run" as possible.

Remote Module Connections

  • Connection to Panel: Connects the M12 X-Coded cable coming from any one of the Data X ports of the Panel shown in the Panel I/O Breakdown section.
  • Hall Sensor: Connection to the hall effect sensor. More details on this in the Cable Specifications section.
  • Ultrasound transducer: This is a connection known as an SMA connector. An SMA cable, mentioned in section 4.1.6, will be interconnecting this port to the transducer.
