Installing the Array Explorer Software

The RSWA unit ships with the Array Explorer software already installed and starting on boot. In most cases, there is nothing to do here.

Upgrading the RSWA Version

On the Tessonics website, we will post the updated versions of our software. If you would like to upgrade your RSWA F2 device to use it, be sure to visit the Tessonics Downloads page and click "Download F2 Platinum Software" to download the most up-to-date version of the RSWA software. Then, save the downloaded file to a USB flash drive and plug it into your RSWA F2 unit.

On the F2 unit, make sure you're signed in as an administrator account (the default administrator account has the username admin and the password spotweld). Then go to Settings, then File Browser, and under "Devices with Removeable Storage", select your USB flash drive. Select the previously downloaded file and hit Execute. There will be a pop-up asking to close Array Explorer before resuming. Select Yes to have it close Array Explorer automatically, and the installer will walk you through the rest of the installation.

After this, restart the F2 unit and the newest software update should be installed.

Upgrading RSWA F1 Unit from V3 to V4

caution

Upgrading an F1 unit to support the V4 software requires a hardware upgrade. Contact Tessonics or your local dealer to carry out these upgrades.

If the system is upgraded to support the V4 software stack, any further software updates can be performed just the same way as mentioned above in Upgrading the RSWA Version
