Tessonics Data Service (TDS)
The Tessonics Data Service (TDS) Server is the central hub that stores your parts catalog, user info, and inspection data. It is required by Desktop Tools to function. One server installation can support many instances of the Desktop Tools and F2 units.
- Download the newest version by visiting the Tessonics Downloads Page for the V4 software, and under Tessonics Data Service, click Download for Windows.
- TDS is meant to be installed on a central server.
- The installer can also update the current version of TDS.
The Tessonics Data Service (TDS) Server acts as both a repository for inspection data as well as a reporting tool. It is a web-based application, which means it is accessible wherever you have a connection to the network, on any device (e.g. desktop computers, mobile phones, tablets). It works in conjunction with the Desktop Tools for managing RSWA units and the data they generate. TDS works best with a modern internet browser.
Installing TDS may require IT involvement. Contact Tessonics Customer Support for assistance with new installations.
Check out the installation guide to learn how to install and configure TDS to get started. Then follow this section for more details on how to use and fine-tune your TDS instance.
Browser Compatibility
The TDS server has been tested with Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. If you are using a less widely distributed browser, you might want to check again using one of the supported browsers. For instance, Brave causes issues in combination with TDS.
